Saturday’s club racing was held on the tough but fast, Longswamp Road. The racing was conducted using the handicap format with Geoff Straub racing off scratch and eventually finishing 2nd after doing the majority of the work. Mitch Bullen showed his patience and took the win on the day jumping with Geoff in the final 500m of the race that left the group in awe with their speed and acceleration at the closing of the race. Reece O’Hara showed strong determination to stay with the more experienced riders and earnt himself several pats on the back from his clubmates.
