BackTrack Fundraising BBQ and Mountain Bike Ride

Join us for a special event! Tuesday 3 December

An extraordinary opportunity awaits… Two of our boys, Alex and Tom, along with youth worker Matt Pett, will be tackling a whopping 800km ride over 8 days through the tropical countryside in Thailand as part of the Hands Across the Water annual Ride to Provide. Like BackTrack, HATWA provide life changing and often lifesaving opportunities for young people who have run out of options.

You’re invited to join the BackTrack boys for their final training ride at UNE, with an opportunity to compete for the coveted BackTrack trophy!

EVENT DETAILS

Where: University New England (UNE) mountain bike track. At the University, head to SportUNE complex on Sport UNE Drive.

When: Tuesday 3 December, 5:30pm – 8:00pm. Riders will depart at 5:45pm.

What: Come and watch the ride and support the boys at our fundraising BBQ. Or, bring your mountain bike and take on the UNE track with us! The fastest finisher along ‘Foot Rot Flats’ will win a trophy hand crafted by the BackTrack boys.

Bring: Cash to purchase food and drinks at the fundraising BBQ.

Raffle: As part of their fundraising efforts, the boys have been running a raffle:
1st prize is an impressive picnic table built by the boys themselves.
There’s also a Bunnings hamper and BackTrack DVD and Book. Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 (or 3 for $10) at the BBQ, right up to the final draw at 8:00pm.
