    Pete McDonald won Stage 3 of the Tour de Taiwan on Tuesday, and finished in fourth place overall. This shot shows him visibly happy with the stage win. Not quite as visibly happy as Kenny gets at the prospect of his first schooner at the Bowlo, but he was probably feeling a bit puffed out.

  • Point score criteriums

    Senior criteriums on March 1 were run with a points racing format. The race over 25 laps had sprints for points every 5 laps.

  • Handicap road race – 16 Febuary 2008

    A 30km handicap road race on Dangarsleigh Road was taken out by Dave Jenner from Tim Dunn and Pat Ainsworth with Geoff Straub finishing with the fastest time (he time trialled all the way and on a very windy day that time equates to just over 40kmh!)

  • 2007 season review

    Armidale Cycling Club has finished the 2007 racing season with a number of very impressive results. One of the most successful riders was Col Maciver, who successfully competed at the Australian Masters Championships in Bacchus Marsh (Victoria), finishing 6th in the time trial, 2nd in the criterium, and 3rd in the road race.
