Longswamp Handicapped Road Race
Saturday’s club racing was held on the tough but fast, Longswamp Road. The racing was conducted using the handicap format with Geoff Straub racing off scratch and eventually finishing 2nd after doing the majority of the work.

2008 Club Championships
Final results Mitch Bullen and Geoff Straub were joint Club Champions for 2008 after finishing on equal points. Mitch Sozou finished in third place. Col on target for State Hillclimb
Col Maciver showed good form leading up to the NSW Hillclimb Championships by winning a 20km time trial on Dangarsleigh Road on Saturday 5 April.

Two new members of the Sub 2 Club
Lasse Mikkelsen and Angus Swan became the latest juniors to join the Sub 2 Club. To qualify, riders must complete a one lap time trial of the criterium circuit in 2 minutes or under. (The circuit is 1.2km). Well done to both Lasse and Angus!

A successful day at the races
The 2008 edition of the Autumn Festival Criterium was one of the most successful yet with exciting racing and strong support from the local Armidale community.
